Since my wife went away this weekend to see the parents, I had a nice long relaxing weekend at the paint table doing something that I really enjoy, completing a heavily converted fig!!! AHHHHHHH, and on top of all that I CRUSHED, absolutely CRUSHED Khonate Kris on Sunday, look for the battle report on Wed. What a weekend!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! Allow this imperial lapdog to twist his lies. We all KNOW who abandoned the great crusade in his quest for godhood. Tell your lies imperial filth. MuHahahahaha
hey dude, I just got back in town and I have on my desk the Oblits. Haven't opened the box yet but I wanted to say thanks. Can't wait to get home and open it. I'll be setting a little contest of my own so keep posted.
I like it Matt. Your work looks amazing as always. Would you want me to send you some pics of the Deamon Prince you did for your page as well?
I mean.. when Phill Kelly himself commented on it at Adepticon 2 years ago.. maybe your local friends might like to see what you did for me so long ago too!
Nice and neat conversion. Like how you extended the cape and all. And speaking of melta bombs, ever thought of magnetizing stuff like that? I have, but haven't done anything about it :)
I guess the urge for magnets on smaller models comes from being new at the game and a feeling of "what is the right gear on this guy?".
Do you keep multiple minis for similar troops or are you better at choosing the "right" setup? (you as in all of you, geez, 22 years of English and that still haunts me, why is "you" both singular and plural?)
Oh, and looking forward to seeing more of that model. The cape just looks so awesome:) I personally did feel that the little ropy thingie in the middle should go for a more fluid experience. I look forward to seeing what you will paint on there :)
Looks good, but I think you went a little overboard with the addons. At roughly halfway through the video, when you had the basics done, but before you had attached his right hand would have been roughly where I would have stopped. It's your army, but it just feels like you tried to cram the entire armoury onto one model.

You put some serious time into that conversion. It looks sick...

i might steal ur idea!
i agree with scraping the bloodletter bits. Makes it look a bit over done imo. Great conversion. The use of the wizard bits is awesome.

@old Shatter hands, glad you like!
@ Marius- sure, I havent seen that fig in a while
@Flekkzo I am not a big fan of magnetizing except for storing weapons on larger models. Just not a big fan.
Thanks for the compliments you guys
