this is a really lack luster post. Anyone who has ever had to deal with an infant and the sleep issues that causes, then you will understand. To say I am a zombie would be wrong because I cant even remeber if its my brain or theirs that I am supposed to be eating.
This squad of Brother Slaughters is what the majority of my WOrld Eaters commission is going look like. I think what has taken so long, is that I have been trying some different paint styles for this army. I jsut said screw it and went with this one. I really liked the hawk turqoise hoses as the accent, but I am disatisfied with the blood on the weapons. Its gonna have to do because the layers it would take to make the blood look good would take forever.

those look awesome! keep up the good work!
Oh yes, the sleep deprivation...
...those are not the fond memories.
However, despite the fact you are working with very little sleep, I must say the army is coming along nicely.
Nice paint. Ork arms are a little long, but the dramatic effect of the muscles and weapons should take away from that distraction nicely. Great post ... I can relate, having had three kids in a row after starting this hobby!
These guys some how reminded me Juggernaut from xmen.
@old school
My inspiration for this army wasreally a bunch of psychotic chips//gorilla. I imagined them standing around, drooling, dragging their knuckles on theground going berserk when they are unleashed!
The reason I built it was because the opportunity presented itself withthe bits trade, but I have hate idea for a long time! As its progressing, the commission, I am reallylooking forward to finishing it. I have some free hand in mind. Especially with the doze blade on the vindicator.
Just a suggestion; I would add shoulder pads to your berserkers, because without them, they seem a bit incomplete. I love the bare arms though, it makes them look brutal! I think it would look very unique to have bare arms coming out of Khornate shoulder pads.
Nice, clean work there. When I get around to my World Eaters I think I'll have to throw on some ork arms for a whole unit.
Thanks guys,
There are a couple of reasons shied awayfrom shoulder pads. The main being that it would take away from the arms, I felt they would go from a main feature of the army to a cool accent. Second reason was getting 64 shoulder pads.;/
I'm not sure i have that many extra. The army is almost done, I have another battle report from last night and Ian going to take some updated picks here today and release tomorrow.
