I love it when playing kill point missions and my opponent has lots of transports and either small squads or single model units (even tough ones like Oblits). It means I can ignore the rest of his army for the most part, maybe throwing one or two squads his way as a distraction and then proceed to pick off all the low count units and transports.

Personally, I am completely against ever taking single model units (except tanks and transports obviously) and small easy to kill squads.HuronBHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03627538019185831412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161652134072043578.post-47904343385076349082010-02-02T09:51:24.899-05:002010-02-02T09:51:24.899-05:00Hey matt i think I saw one of your models in the g...Hey matt i think I saw one of your models in the golden bolter painting comp is this trueDrew Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09277664787989182673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161652134072043578.post-41212364304767831262010-02-01T23:55:18.852-05:002010-02-01T23:55:18.852-05:00seriously. A well built list with lots of kill poi...seriously. A well built list with lots of kill points manhandles other list with very few killpoints. This is something a lot of players have a hard time understanding. My 2k list has 27 killpoints and it has no problem in kp missions. Each unit can only accomplish so much over the course of 5-7 turns. The more kp's(units) you have, the high number of actions you can do. This allows for focus fire and combo charges against forces that have a low number of kp's.

Having a low number of kp also means your dumping a large number of points into a lower number of units. Which means that your list is unbalanced. And we all know what happens when an unbalanced list goes up against a well built, balanced list right? Oh yeah, it loses.

Please please try to get out of that mindset that a high number of kill points is bad.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03949552487719958918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161652134072043578.post-7620754541683615522010-02-01T22:09:29.384-05:002010-02-01T22:09:29.384-05:00At least you can identify the Cheese.
