Death co Dread WIP for Heroes of Armaggedon prt 6

I havent done any painting except the work on this Dreadnought. The next few steps is when it will start to come together. Its due soon but a lot of the work is actually done on it, all except for the weapons that I so raved about. Not sure if Ill end up doing the ball and chains as this model will just blend into the back ground with so many big wigs on the case.
Well, if anyone has noticed, I have most definetly been in a self described "painting funk." Ive backed out of a small commission recently and after I finish all of my commitments, I will be setting down the paint brush for a while. Ive fallen into a social circle that has nothing to do with minis and I would like to explore it for a while. Dont worry, the occasional game or eye candy will show up every now and again.

Land Raider Bling

I ordered three sets of these Land Raider accessories to go with my two new Land Raiders that will be on the way soon enough. Thanks to everyone who came through with the trades. Ya'll helped me out of a tight spot. I will be using the Land raiders as part of my Knights of Caliban army. I will resculpt the front hatch so they will be holding broken swords in place of halberds.

Storm Ravens for sale or trade

I have two storm ravens that are brand new that I would like to sell or trade. I want them out of the house so Ill cut deals. One has the plastic wrap on and the other has started to be partially assembled. I am looking to trade for two godhammer pattern land raider. Preferably unbuilt and on the sprue. Main reason is that I would like the top of the land raider and the side sponsons to be removable. Anyone interested in trading, email me. Even if you have another idea instead of the land raider, email me and we will talk. The answer is always no until you ask.

Deathwing Chaplain and battle report

First thing on the menu is this Chaplain that I updated to be included in my new Deathwing. He used to belong to the Imperial Fists but became a free agent and was snatched up last minute. He used to specialize in a pair of Lightning claws but has since traded in for a combi-melta and his crozius.


The next thing is that I would like your guys opinion on color choices for the storm shields in the army. The two below are part of Belial's chosen command squad, the troop squad he always accompanies. The guy on the left is the original choice and the fella on the right is the proposed change. With the black shield, I thought that it just faded into the model to much. I just realized the guy on the right isnt finished as I meant to paint the inner ring black. Basically a switch-a-roo. Well anyway, which do you prefer?


And for desert, the battle report I promised the other day.


I need to say something because I havent published a couple of the last battle reports where I was beaten. The battle reports are kind of filler material for me and the take the most effort to put together so sometimes I dont get around to it and they fade into the background as time moves on. One in particular is against my arch-enemy, Ryan SInnot. This "ray of sunshine," has knocked me out of about three tournaments. I will have my revenge!
