Ill be painting blood angels till I die ;)

My buddy Mags has commissioned another couple of squads for his Angels Encarmine army. Ive got several drop pods and a Furioso Dread on the way from Rob over @ http://www.spikeybits.com/ Until those get here I will have to work on 10 more Bone colored Sanguinary Guard thats the first part of the order and that I already have. Nothing really new that you havent seen, even though I got some plans for his Death co. drop pod. Itz'll be kool.

Im wanting to get each of my 5 crew masters painted before I start playing. With the extra commissions that I have picked up lately, I havent been able to finish evrything I imagined.

Ruby Red Lips

Yes, I am this thrilled to not be painting power armour! I was hanging with my boys from the Sons of Thunder and they were obviously excited and into talking some 40K shop. When they were asking me what codex I thought would come out next, I think I said Malifaux. I cant help it. Im really into these figs, or maybe I am just happy to be doing something different. Let me put it this way, I dont have to pretend anymore that my wife makes me paint lip stick on my figs. No more explaining the fluff about my space marines with ruby red lips stained from their home planet's radiation. When I paint Colette, the showgirl at the bottom, I will paint lip stick free of judgemental eyes;) I can finally be me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I know this is presumptous but please dont critique my crew choice just yet! I havent even seen a game played so I am just trying to get some crews painted so I can get the game going in my area. My model choices are based of what I wanted to paint! Either way, Im excited. Astoroth and Co.

Here are a couple of figs that I painted a few weeks ago as sort of a paypack for the Angels Encarmine Death Co. Dread. I originally had it in mind to do a broad crest on the Stormraven with one side black , a white stripe in the middle, and the other red. Similar to the picture of the dread on the bottom. That idea was declined and a simpler paint scheme was decided. I did the Astoroth model as a gift of my own for Magilla Gurilla over at http://www.tabletopwar.net/

The Undertaker!

***EDIT*** This is what I came up with! I need to work on the right arm and including some touches on the bird. The feet of the bird are driving me crazy, as the orange is just to bright for balance on the model. The pink is a bit much also. I would prefer a more fleshy/pinky color but it will have to do for now

Tomorrow I will spend the whole day painting and this is the guy that I will be focusing on! Gotta get em ready, glory awaits in the town of Malifaux.

I was kind of short on post this week but Ive been planning things and trying to take care of business. Ive got something in mind that will bring some quality to the figurative and literal table. All for you enjoyment of course.

I begin the Vasconcelles campaign tomorrow at Toywiz with my friends from Sons of Thunder. We are entering a 1850 pt tournament and look to enjoy ourselves.
