Basic Intentions

I have all these videos that I have been making but for some reason, I never get around to releasing them on the blog. THis one is about a month old when I was still painting Magilla Gurilla's Angels Encarmine army. I have several battle reports with me getting my ass kicked over and over but everyone has seen that so nothing new or of note.

I think this video is different because of the idea that I have. Check it out and tell me if anyone has done this before!

A Black Templar Commission update: Im almost finished assembling the army and I have already begun painting the terminators!

uh oh! Power gamer alert!

Well, you knew this was coming obviously! I have a large painted Imperial Fists 1st company that I am wanting to use with the Dark Angel codex. Ive done this several times in the past before the new FAQ came out so reserve your righteous judgement for someone else who uses their chaos army as Space Wolves;) I will of course include as many thunderhammers as possible and these are what I could wrangle up. I have nine in total, or equivalents. What do you guys think about using the Mace chaos terminator arms as Thunder hammers? Ive trimmed all the evidence of chaos away and if I could choose, I would rather have all maces.
This is what Termies I have in my Imperial Fist Army
Lysander(Belial)
Chaplain needs converting
2 sargeants with Lightning claws
1 sarg with power weapon
1 sarg with banner and power weapon
2 Cyclone Missle Launchers
6 Assault Cannons
2 Heavy Flamers
1 SBolter and Chainfist
14 SBolter and Power Fists
4 Blank Plastic Terminators
The CML are not going to be included for much longer as I am going to take them for the Black Templars commission I am working on right now.

Does anyone want to give me a list, with the least amount of changes to the army. Remember, no CML unless you wanna give them to me!

Look whats next! ahh

Lets say I sat down four times this past weekend. And lets say that when I first sat down, I really had the artistic intention of a fluff loving gamer at heart.
This is what I did the first time I sat down. I had planned out and begun to execute the finishing of my Black Legion Chaos Army. For anyone who has read my blog on a regular basis, you may recognize my slaanesh rhino and my plans for the free hand on the side. Things were going well until....

I sat down the second time to pay next months bills.!

When that was done and after pacing around the room I sat down a third time to write an email and figure a price for a proposed Black Templar Army. So much for working on my own things. A deal was struck and this is the test model I did so my client would know what to expect.

And last but not least, I worked on the Vasconcelles Campaign flag for the Black Templar crusade about ready to launch.

*wink, wink,...notice the chaos point on the pommel which I havent finished!....wink, wink*

conflict gt army coverage part 5 or My pick for best painted

Ok guys, this is what I would have picked for the best painted when I went to the Conflict GT. It belongs to Tim WIlliamson, Old Shatter Hands!!! I new his stuff was good but seeing it in person just kicks some ass! I didnt get to hang with Tim except at lunch and that was the biggest let down of the weekend since he is a pretty cool dude.

Tau Master

Dont be shy girls, go over and pat him on the back!

conflict gt army coverage part 4

It looks like we have some sharks in the tank!

Finally we get some lady action!

Conflict gt army coverage part 3

First things first, my buddy Magilla Gurilla over at www.tabletopwar.net has been through some grief but now he is back to brightening the blog-o-sphere. Get over there and check him out. Glad to see you back, Mags!

This is the "Da Boyz," edition of the Conflict gt army coverage. There are some other members who came down from Rochester but these are the only two armies that I took pictures of. Joe Johnson, who took best painted here and at the Da Boyz tournament, was also with them but youve already seen that army. Remember the Salmon Salamanders?

These stunning tyranids belong to Jay whom I believe organized and ran the Da Boyz tournament!

This Chaos army was played by Shaun who I played my first round!
