world eaters progress

Hey guys,
this is a really lack luster post. Anyone who has ever had to deal with an infant and the sleep issues that causes, then you will understand. To say I am a zombie would be wrong because I cant even remeber if its my brain or theirs that I am supposed to be eating.
This squad of Brother Slaughters is what the majority of my WOrld Eaters commission is going look like. I think what has taken so long, is that I have been trying some different paint styles for this army. I jsut said screw it and went with this one. I really liked the hawk turqoise hoses as the accent, but I am disatisfied with the blood on the weapons. Its gonna have to do because the layers it would take to make the blood look good would take forever.

Battle for Salvation Grand Tournament/ commission update!

Allow me to announce the Battle for Salvation Grand Tournament. It will be taking place on October 9th - 1oth and will be located here in White Plains, NY. This will, like all of our tournaments, be a competitive event with something for everyone. We have decided to adopt the NOVA OPEN format for the tournament as we feel this was an above par tournament experience. Come play against me, Danny Internets, Brother Captain James, Fritz, Jawaballs and the rest of the Battle for Salvation Game club.

White Plains is 25 minutes north of Mid-town Manhattan and makes for an excellent vacation. We have moderate to high priced hotels located in White Plains, all within walking distance of the Tournament venue. If you have paid attention in the past, we always run top notch tournaments. We hope to see you make it!

games day on the fly

I woke up Saturday morning after a FULL nights sleep. I cant tell you how elative this is. My son slept through the whole night. It left me feeling so awesome that I convinced my wife to drive down to Maryland for Games day. It will be almost over by the time I am there but if you see me, say hi!!!!! I love to meet readers. I will be pushing my son around in a stroller and probably arguing with Brother Captain James the whole day! Converted World Eaters Army for Sale!

I have decided to sell the World Eaters army that I put together over the past few days. I have two prices on the video. The first offers the price of the models, without shipping. The second is the cost to paint them but dont worry becuase you can buy the army outright without purhcasing the paint job. If you decide to have me paint them, I will include the Forge World Lord Zhufor model for free. He will of course come painted and ready to take some skulls.

Spare change for the needy/wanty!?

Well here I am watching the telly with my wife and my awesome infant. Trouble is, I am a work-a-holic and while I just finished doing a blood angels army that you will see on another blog here very shortly, I want to do another mech heavy space marine army. So if you are thinking about having an army commissioned, please check with me first. I dont have set prices and I am cheaper than you think. I am not gonna let you stick one in me, but you might be surprised. I got the last gig because my client thought he would try and see if I would do the army for a competitors price and I said sure why not. I paint a lot better and quicker than he does/did anyway, and that was with a baby on the way!

bits dinner booty

One mans junk is another mans treasure. I made out like a bandit last Saturday at the bits dinner. I am only now getting done with separating the stuff into races but there is a lot of stuff here. I explain the deal in the video but WOW is the only thing I have to say!

Battle for Salvation represents!

The battle for Salvation gaming group represented pretty big down at the Nova OPen in Virginia. We had 5 people going with 3 going 3-1. Our own Danny Internets took home the title of Reniessance man with Ultrabob and Jawaballs bring up rear. Ed, Edd, and Eddy didnt do as well but took plenty of skulls. My limited texting contact with them has still left me with a solid impression of a great time at the tournament. I am pretty sure that we will be using a similar format at our own tournament. Final word will come from Ultrabob on what, if any, tweeks will be done for our own tournament!

Fulgrim doesnt have anything on me

cause I am the MotherFrackin Phoenician! Over the past 6 months I have been through surgery, a renovation where I did 95% of the work, the wifey losing all income, a fist fight, work drama, game club drama, a damn near mental breakdown, and all of it by myself while my wife was in the hospital for 3.75 months. Well I dont care if this sounds like hubris. F^(& you world, the only thing you ever say is no, and here I am standing like its last man standing! King of the world bitches!

The Vengeful Spirit takes a glancing hit! / Bits Dinner

The Vengeful Spirit, (the flagship of the Warmaster Black Matt,) was ambushed by the Big Yellow floating citadel of the Imperial Fists. THE PHALANX, also known as a short bus!
Out of nowhere, the bohemeth sought to merge into my lane! The hubris and foolish pride of Dorn! Little did he know that the fatal flaw of the Warmaster is that he doensnt back down! Thinking about it, he probably will back down in the future with a new car and NYC traffic!

Ok, now down the the real point of this post. The Battle for Salvation Gaming club based in Westchester county, New York is having a swap meet for bits. We will be having dinner beforehand and that starts at 6pm. We are having it where we have our club meetings.
