New Chaos list/ my weekend tournament list!

When I went to the Battle for Salvation Tournament this past weekend, I didnt want to play the Dual Lash army that I usually play. From now on, I am going to refer to that list as the D-Lash list so as to satisfy almost everyone. You can think of it as Dual Lash List or you can think of it as Douchebag Lash, either way we are all on the same page.
So I was determined to have a themed/painted black legion army at the tournament and I decided to use the models I have.
Here is the list I used and it has turned out nicley.

*** when I came to the tourney, I had a 1750 point list and ready and found out it was a 1850 tourney so I added what I had in my case! It turned out to be a good decision, since they were fearless objective holders!! They will probably not be there in the future though!!!****

Something isnt correct here because I am only coming out to 1819. All my stuff is at the hospital with my wife so I am going off memory. I will edit tonight but

*** EDIT *** I found the mistake with the help of my first round opponent, Marshall Klauss of the Inquisition! Kurt noticed a mistake I had in my list where I paid 250 for a Land Raider and fixing that gave me an extra 30 to spend on two more CSMs. One for each squad bringing the squad level to 6. That is some good sportin' there Klauss, I shouldnt have given you a 0 sportsmanship score! ;) J/k***

Either way, I played a 1750 version last night versus Brother Captain James and kicked him in the nuts. That doesnt mean I won, just that I was really bitter for losing;) I will be writing about some possible tweaks in the future. ANy ideas? Keep or toss Abaddon, the Dnought, the bikers?

raffle and tourney results,

We had another successful event with Brothers Grimm finally stepping up and bringing home the skulls! I dont remember his name but the Space Wolves player from Grimm tore through the tourney in a whirlwind taking first. Danny Internets came in second, while I squeaked into third. The highlight of the day was Danny vs. Jawaballs. I'll leave the thunder to them and theirs! The raffle results are above in the video. Its long and lengthy due to the explanation necessary. That sure didnt go as planned.

OK, whoop de do! Nothing special but they fit into the army theme now and look a little better. I was fitting everything into the case today and I got a really good idea. I will personalize the case with the name of whomever wins and some coolish freehand Inquisition style iconograph with a runon sentence attached to let the person take home;) Sorry im feeling goofy

Painted DaemonHunters Army RAFFLE

This Daemonhunters army that I am painting is going to be raffled off at the Battle for Salvation Tournament this coming Saturday. Grey Knights vs. Chaos

This was a great game and even if you arent into these video battle reports, check out the ending! Very much a 40K novel ending! I dont remember a better game against my good friend Fritz!

Grey Knights commission done in one week!

Grey Knights commission

I think that I have picked up my first Grey Knights commission with a friend of mine dropping his dreadnought on my floor and saying "oops," as it breaks into 5 pieces. I gotta wonder if this was an accident because he may have known that I would pick up the pieces and put it back together and paint it for him. This is going to be a speed paint job and lucky for me, they are already painted black with details picked out. Below is a picture of the original grey knight color, which was black.
I have another grey knight army that I was going to speed paint for the club to auction in June at our tournament.
