Slaanesh Rhino ornaments

I know that I posted that I was going to be working on the Nurgle Squad but when I sat down I didnt have that "feeling," and so I have been working on the Khorne Squad. I will wait until they are finished to display them. I am considering redoing the heads on the Nurgle squad because painting them dirty just wont be enough. I found some empire heads that look pretty knarled up. I will see how it works out. This video is about the Slaanesh rhino and my plans for the top of it. I will also be doing this freehand soon, I hope!

Should Tournament organizers play in their own tourneys?

After I have watched this video I think its unclear what I am trying to communicate through it, so I am going to try and write it out.
1) I did not make it to the 2nd round. Point totals are all fair and square as far as I can testify.
2) Ultrabob took first place and will advance.
3) The tourney results felt shady because the tournament organizer was playing in the tournament and choosing everyones opponents. As Bob and I have both run tournaments, we both strongly stand against any sort of staff playing in the event they are running. Regardless of promises of complete objectivity, which CAN'T happen, it leaves participants with DOUBT. Bobby and I both dropped our jaws when we saw that the organizer marked himself a 24 in game 3 on the score board, because neither of us thought that he was playing the third round. I was stunned as I really thought that he bowed out of the third game! This along with his pre-tournament tales of selling victories to opponents made us shake our heads and leave. With Ultrabob's share of the loot, of course!
4) I made a huge error at the end of my first game. I would have sworn that vehiles, dreadnoughts included , could not consilidate after close combat. I promised him this was the case and was called on the rule! I felt verbally struck when he said that he caught me cheating him. Just to renew that debate;)

I chopped up a pirate movie joke to get that one and your attention. Just a quick post here to keep the ball rolling and post what my final ard boys list is going to be. I had everything lined up for the 6 land raider list but I questioned myself about trying something new after being out for so long! I got so tired of going back and forth that I just took my dual lash list @ 1750 and added to it.

My only grey area is the 10 man chosen squad, they are really pricey but the havoc that I create will hopefully make them worht the points. I will let you all know. Death tot the false Emperor!

Slaanesh rhino inspiration and nurgle squad

I have found a treasure that I have been searching and searching for. I have got that "feeling," about an image that I ran across and I am leaning heavily towards using it as the inspiration for my slaanesh rhino. For a long time I have been looking for something that fits in with both the 40K chaos fluff and elict an emotion that depicts or identifies with hedonism!

I appreciate the challenge but I must regrettfully decline! The warp is a crazy mistress and takes us all sorts of crazy ways but my wife has been hospitalized for well over a month so I dare not leave! I really want to come down there too, because I had a old friend move their recently and I dont like running from a good fight. ;) Tell your boys to keep grinding those axes until next year.
